We joined hands with the Juhu Citizen Welfare Group to adopt Tatia Baug – Coastal Garden at Birla Lane at Juhu, Mumbai. We have developed the garden and is also actively involved in its beautification. Since January 2015, the garden has been opened to the general public. We also maintain a drinking water facility at the Juhu Beach vicinity, in association with the Brihan Mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), to provide clean and safe drinking water to tourists and the general public.
We have made substantial contribution towards the development of ISKCON's new temple at Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. The donation will be utilised towards constructing the new temple and providing various services for the devotees who visit the temple, thus adding to the cultural glory of the state of Maharashtra.
To fight the issue of hunger and malnutrition, OIA has collaborated with ISKCON to regularly distribute nutritious food to the underprivileged children. This is aimed at providing them with proper nutrition during the growing years of their lives and making them lead a healthy life ahead.
