Young Indians (Yi) is an integral part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), India's premier business association, formed in the year 2002, with an objective of creating a platform for young Indians to realize the dream of a developed nation. The members comprise of entrepreneurs, professionals and progressive achievers from different walks of life.

The Yi chapter recently led a 15-member delegation to the UK on 24th and 25th June to meet like-minded Next-Gen business, social and political leaders of the UK.

The primary objective was to bring together young entrepreneurs from both the countries and reinforce the theme of Yi while building a bridge between 'Young Businesses' and 'Young in Business'.

Yi's agenda included discussions on how India is handling global recession, contribution made by Yi overseas for the country's development and its program for participatory democracy, governance and value based leadership. Apart from this, the delegates shared their knowledge on Indian entrepreneurship, business strategy, which at the moment stands on the theme of 'successful entrepreneurship in scarcity'.

The delegation led by Mr. Rahul Mirchandani of Aries Agro Ltd. and our very own Young business Leader, Mr. Advait Chaturvedi met Lord Meghnad and Sir Thomas Harris, VC, Standard Chartered Capital Markets PLC.
